eBay Selling
Surely you've heard of eBay?
I'd be surprised if you hadn't. Ebay have become a household name and are the leading internet marketplace to buy new and second hand goods. Many people imagine only small products being sold on eBay but in reality you can buy almost anything, from a porsche to a house!
Ebay was started in 1995 and was funnily enough called "Auction Web" - sounds odd doesn't it. Over the next 15 years it became bigger and bigger and now hosts over 4.5 million auctions every single day and is estimated to be worth in excess of $11 billion dollars.

Selling items on eBay has been made very easy, firstly you must create a sellers account, and then it only takes 10 minutes to make an auction with the details, upload a picture and then you're good to go...
Tips to help you make money working from home on eBay
Many people don't realise that the time you start your auction can make a big impact on your sale price. Ebay is not - by definition - a true auction format, meaning that when the auction is about to finish, if someone else bids, the auction does not get extended, like in a real auction.
This therefore encourages people to bid at the very last minute to help get the best price, items will often sell for double or triple their selling price int he last 5 minutes of the auction. Keeping this in mind it would not be beneficial to end an auction at 3am as not many people will be awake to bid on it, thus selling for a lower price.
In my opinion the best time to start an auction is Thursday evening between 7pm-10pm, for a total of 10 days. This gives ten days of exposure and the auction will finish the following Sunday evening, whcih is the busiest time for eBay, therefore increasing the chances of your item ending at a good amount.
An item listed for 1 day will more often than not finish on a cheaper price than one listed on a 7 or 10 day auction, so aim to list your auction for a week or more. Your auction is very important and how it is layed out is paramount to getting a good sale price, if it looks amateurish in appearance it will reduce the trust in the auction, make sure you have a good picture of your product, make it clear and easy to see.
Your auction description should be simple, friendly and explain any defects if there are any. If your mobile phone has a small scratch then mention it, it is better mentioning it and getting a slightly lower price than having to deal with an upset buyer and re-listing the item after issuing the buyer with a refund.
Ebay really is a great way to make money working from home , you can get started right away and reap the benefits of any unused things just lying around your house. Granted there are fees you must pay, you pay for eBay's service, it is a percentage based upon the final selling price of your auction.
Best of luck with your selling, i'm sure you can find
lots of things to sell and just imagine the money you can make!
